What's coming up for Pinterest? An overview of Pinterest Presents

Keeping up with Pinterest (and all digital marketing...) can feel like a never-ending task, right?

The constant need for fresh ideas, creative visuals, and ensuring your brand is always in front of the right people—it’s a lot, and it can be pretty overwhelming. And let’s face it, with AI playing a bigger role, it’s changing even faster.

But now, Pinterest is upping its game (some might say "finally!"), making things a lot easier to navigate). A couple of weeks ago, I was invited to attend Pinterest Presents, and the focus was all about how AI will be making everything simpler and smarter moving forward.

The actual event was INCREDIBLY cheesy (I may have cringed a couple of times), but the upcoming changes to Pinterest are pretty amazing. The implementation of their new Performance + Suite will be a game changer. A collection of AI powered tools to make campaigns faster, easier and creating content so much simpler but with far better results.

Imagine this: AI that not only helps with creating eye-catching images but also takes care of optimising your ads—saving you time and effort. Sounds good, right? Pinterest ads are already pretty user-friendly and low-cost, but the changes they are implementing will make it an even better experience.

The main bits:

  • AI-Enhanced Imagery: Pinterest’s AI can now transform basic images into vibrant shots that catch attention. Early tests showed that ads using these AI-generated images saw a 55% higher clickthrough rate. That's pretty impressive!

  • Smarter Ad Management: With their new Performance+ Suite, Pinterest is rolling out AI tools that help optimise ad performance in real time. You can expect quicker campaign creation (up to 50% faster!) and better cost efficiency. Think less manual tweaking, more time for you to focus on other parts of your business.

  • AI-Powered Personalisation: Pinterest’s AI is also boosting personalised shopping experiences by targeting users with tailored recommendations based on their past activities. It’s like having a digital assistant who knows exactly what your customers are looking for

So, while the digital landscape continues to get more competitive, Pinterest’s AI tools are going to help us stay ahead, without the extra stress. It’s about working smarter, not harder—and who doesn’t want that?
