Do You Repurpose?

I've talked about repurposing content before, but there's good reason for mentioning it again.

(This blog was written while my website was being rebuilt, so now it's catch up time!) February is all about content. And one of the easiest ways to get plenty of content is to repurpose what you have.

Say you write a blog post. Easy enough, right? Do you post it, share a link maybe on your socials, and leave it at that and hope everyone sees it?

Or do you reshare it all over the place in different ways, and get maximum exposure on your writing genius?

12 Ways You Can Repurpose Your Content:

  • Share the blog post as a LinkedIn Article on your business page.
  • Then share that article to your personal profile, using relevant and topical hashtags.
  • Take snippets of brilliance from that blog, and turn them into stand out images with quotes for Instagram. Don't forget to share it to your stories, using the "Link" button!!
  • Take chunks of the content, and post to Facebook, with links to the full post.
  • Post a link to it on your Pinterest with an eye catching image. Don't underestimate the power of Pinterest, it's HUGE.
  • Share a sneak peek of the blog in your newsletter, and encourage readers to head to your website to read the rest.
  • Record the blog post as an audio, and publish on your podcast if you have one.
  • Send the blog post to anyone who's platform you would love to be a guest writer or speaker on - show off your expertise and reach a fresh audience.
  • Take snippets and post to Twitter with links to your website (yes, Twitter IS still alive and well)
  • Take an exciting chunk of it, post to your Google My Business page, with a link to the full article (Google My Business only has a small character allowance.)
  • Get brave!! Video yourself reading out the blog post - upload to YouTube, Reddit, anywhere that video is appreciated and REALLY stand out above the crowd. People are hungry for the personal touch these days, and seeing YOU makes you far more relevant, and more verified as the "expert" to them.
  • Take snippets of your blog, turn them into FAQ points for your FAQ page on your website, which you in turn can ALSO share as content on your different platforms. Double bonus!

What do you think? Some new ideas to help keep your content fresh and exciting?

Of course, if you're still lost, send me a message or email nikki@notabene.co.nz and we can work together to create some fresh and exciting content.
