It's all very well for me to say "I do social media". That doesn't always mean much to people. So I thought I would take some time and put it out there - what it is that I actually DO for the social media package.
This is not exclusive. More often than not, prospective clients want a more personalised package. Something with more posts, less posts, or for me to also do newsletters, blogs or other tasks, in which case I would go away and put together a bespoke plan for them.
But this gives you an idea of what to expect.
Social Media can be HARD.
I know from experience that the time it takes to sit around and think about what you want to talk about each month, then to find pictures to go with it, and THEN the actual scheduling, which seems to be the thing that many dislike the most.
It eats into the time you could be spending on more productive parts of your business, or spending time with your family.
This is one of the key places I can make your business life easier.
Some clients are super organised, and know what they want to talk about. Some even present it to me in a beautiful spreadsheet, with instructions on what kind of image they want, even what DATE they want it posted. They just don't have the time to fluff up the posts, create images or schedule. Totally fine by me!
Others will give me a baseline - talk about this package, share these images and talk about XYZ. I go away and turn them into content and then some I send back for their approval, some I have free rein to just get it done.
Other's feel a bit lost and need some help or suggestions of what to talk about. And that's fine too. I have plenty of ideas to share! For these clients, when I contact them to start planning the coming months content, I will usually provide a few suggestions up front - new testimonials, special events coming up, the latest blog they have written, change of season where relevant to their business. Just to get the creative juices flowing.
No matter what level of help you need with your social media, each month I come to you in advance to sort it out. Once the copy (post content) is ready, I go away and create images, either using images you have provided, or creating new ones, and I get everything scheduled for you, while you relax, knowing it's all taken care of.
That's actually the main feedback I get on this package, and for other clients that I do a bit of social media for within their plan - the peace of mind that their content for the month is all taken care of in advance - that's the best bit for them. They can just focus on bringing in the money, building their business in other places, or just doing what is important to them.
And then, for my social media package clients only, I also provide a comprehensive report following each month, so that we can both look over how each post did on different platforms, and where we can make improvements. I'm always adapting how things are done, as we all know, social media is forever changing!
